About Us
In 2015, Camp Wingate was created by a small dedicated group of people who had a vision of building a camp rooted in history while establishing new and lasting traditions of its own. The vision was clear, to build a camp that was small in size and where campers would be known and cared for; a place where kids could come, unplug, have fun and enjoy their summers in a truly special setting. Over the years, we have upgraded our facilities to include new bunks, an expanded dining hall, resurfaced basketball and tennis/pickleball courts and a brand new arts centre in 2024!
These last ten years have been an incredible journey for Wingate and our story is just getting started. There is so much more to come! We hope you’ll join us and see what makes Camp Wingate such an amazing place.
