Week 6 - MAC & Goodbye to 2026
What an incredible way to close out the summer! Our final week featured an unforgettable MAC — Moana vs. Stitch: The Search for Ohana — bringing the whole camp together for an amazing competition filled with spirit, teamwork and fun. We wrapped up the week with plenty of bunk bonding, a special Shabbat on the beach, and our final banquet and awards. It was the perfect ending to an incredible summer at Wingate, filled with friendships, memories and moments we’ll carry with us long after we cross the bridge for the last time this season.

Mac 2026 – Moana vs Stitch
All summer long, we talked about how Camp Wingate is more than just a camp — it’s a family. So what better theme for MAC 2026 than a battle of the Ohana!
It all began during the Camp Wingate Dancing with the Staff finale. A surprise POTH performance was interrupted by Moana and Maui, sending the entire camp on an unexpected adventure. What began as a search for their missing friends quickly turned into a hunt for Stitch, who had secretly made Camp Wingate his new home!
Along the way, Lilo, Jumba and Pleakley arrived, reminding everyone that Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
And with that, MAC 2026: Moana vs. Stitch — The Search for Ohana was underway!
Over the next few days, our two Ohana battled it out in competitions across camp, showing incredible spirit, teamwork and determination. In the end, MAC was about more than which team came out on top. It was a celebration of the friendships, traditions and memories that make Wingate one big family.
MAC 2026 was one we won’t soon forget!
