Whether you are an experienced competitive athlete or new to the game and just looking to have fun, campers will find the right mix of instruction and fun team play at Wingate. Our sports are taught by qualified instructors who work to ensure participation by all campers regardless of their skill level. Campers have the opportunity to play and elevate their game in an environment that focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy competition. Bunk periods, weekly sports tournaments, specialized clinics and inter-camp games ensure a sports program that allows all campers to improve their skills and feel good about sports!

Arts

Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Drama, Jewellery & Beadmaking, Pottery, Theatre
 

Our creative and performing arts program offers an array of activities for campers of all ages, from arts and crafts, dance, cooking pottery, jewellery making and drama. Highlights of the summer include an incredible end of session dance show and camp play.

Waterfront

Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, Swim Instruction, Lifesaving, Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Windsurfing
 

There’s no better place to be on a summer day than at the waterfront at Wingate! Lac des-Trois-Frères is the perfect backdrop to the wide variety of water activities that we offer. Campers will have the chance to enjoy the lake while learning to canoe, kayak and sail. Safety is our top priority on the beach. Our experienced Lifesaving Society certified waterfront staff provide the highest level of supervision and instruction in all water activities.

Outdoor Adventure

Archery, Cookouts, Fishing, Hiking, Canoe Trips
 

There’s nothing better than an outdoor adventure in the summer and at Wingate there is no shortage of activities to choose from. From cookouts, overnights, archery, hiking, fishing and canoe trips, campers get a real taste of the great outdoors at camp.
